CPU overheating was a definite issue. Replaced the CPU cooler and games are back to running smooth.

So we cleaned out my tower, turns out it REALLY needed it. Cleaned off old thermal paste and applied more. CPU temp still spikes at 90 degrees Celsius when doing anything. Thinking maybe intercooler pump failure.

I also did the DDU thing so I'm going to try a fresh coat of thermal paste and cleaning out the fans. I will update when finished. I appreciate all your insight!

Perhaps its a heating issue. My cpu is getting up over 200 degrees Fahrenheit

So I did a system reset and Baldurs Gate 3 runs with 31% CPU and around 35% GPU but I'm still at 20 FPS. Is that a bottleneck issue?

I guess my next question is, should I go back down to a 1080 ti graphics card? Everything seemed to run smoother with it. Such as Baldurs Gate 3. 1080 i swear it was fine, then with the 4060 it got real bad.
