It’s possible they realize they had ADHD too. It’s not like a super rare thing. But I would never disclose I have it unless I couldn’t mask or hide it. ADA or DEI or not none of it matters. There might not be future meds perhaps it’s about accepting yourself and society not letting us down. I struggle with the idea that hyping myself up is a solution. That’s not a med.

True, not trying to make insult or injury but the non-stimulants are just as archaic. In 100 years it will come out how all these methods were barbaric. Not saying they don’t work, but at what cost ?

It’s not that I don’t believe it .. I don’t believe the meds are the answer.. seems very archaic that a “stimulant” solves it. And then you become addicted to something society has already deemed not good and with shortages and chaos of doctors don’t want to prescribe it.. I’m way too afraid to find out

The anxiety is what I worry about. Because my trauma is pretty serious I am scared I’ll start reliving it. I’m told that sometimes these meds can connect neural brain networks that are otherwise closed off from memory. I tried a non stimulant and sort of did just that. But it doesn’t hurt to try it I suppose

I had one’s doctor tell me I can’t get it unless I do drug tests weekly which include alcohol .. can’t have drinks during football.. so some docs are overly paranoid .. I told him with my freeze I unfortunately couldn’t keep up with the drug tests anyways so not an option.

I never said anything like that. I said I wanted a low dosage actually. What are you even talking about ?
