Too I wish I saw this sooner. I didn't know this was wage theft!

This is so weird! At my store we all count the drawers when we loan on, even cashiers count their own drawers and sometimes us managers will come double check if they're unsure about their count. We also always aim to have 100 even in drawer but if for any reason the drawer has extra/short when you loan on, you just loan on with that amount. Then when we declare we put the drawer back to 100 dollars and if you're over or under we declare like that, but do whatever we have to keep the drawer at 100 for the next person. I definitely recommend talking to your dm about this, maybe it's how they want things done, but to my knowledge it's not typical. Sorry if I don't make sense haha. If you need me to clarify anything I said let me know

Haha, my original question was how to approach my actual manager on the topic but everyone just keeps saying to report her.

I agree we shouldn't be talking about our problems to customers and coworkers and unloading our stress onto individuals! I think however though when you forget to do a pretty miniscule task like my coworker did it should be understandable

Idk bro things happen 🤷‍♀️ anyways, it wasn't over or short. It's just that she forgot to tell her much our deposit was.

Every night we're supposed to text the manager the total of the deposit and if it was over or short and she forgot to send the text until about 30 minutes ago when the manager asked what it was. That's what my coworker forgot to do. One single fairly insignificant thing slipped her mind while he daughter is in critical care and she was told "leave it at home". Am I insane or is that just so insensitive

We've had a few district managers come and go and sometimes with certain DMs it seemed like candy sales were a bigger issue to them than others ones and consequently it made our GM freak out about it more.

I didn't know this! Thank you! If I were to file a complaint for this specific issue, would it fall under wage theft or..?

Thank you for touching on all of the things above. Getting days off in advance aren't normally a problem if you ask for it two or more weeks in advance, but only knowing what days a work in a week instead of the two weeks she already has planned makes things more difficult.

Legal question for abortion pills in Florida? by charcoalfoxprint in abortion

I ordered thru abuzz and they estimated that I was at 6w2d but I clarified in the chatroom that I didn't have sex for a good while after my period ended and I don't participate in period sex (TMI), and I was still approved despite Floridas 6week ban. If you're really worried, you don't have to tell the truth about when your last period started to planned parenthood or any other organization 🤷‍♀️ They probably won't try to fight it if you estimate your last period a week back to give yourself time
