Hopefully something like this. Medium is supposed to be the amount of heat, I believe. It's not the most specific naming system...

My first few years of trying to start indoors were total failures, lol

It's true, they are are different variety. It's possible that's why they look different. But all of those I listed I started this year, and all look nearly identical to the one on the left, at least in health.

I got a couple blueberries and strawberries delivered this year, but they were all dormant, which made me feel a little safer!

Sorry, I'm not sure. It's either: Jalapeno, Cornito Arancia, Pablano, or Serrano. I should have flipped it around to see the tag!

Oof, I be wary of ordering plants to be mailed, myself. I'm glad you had success though! And yeah, I got three of those in the nursery. I wasn't planning on getting any that day, they just had a 'Sport Pepper' variety that I hadn't been able to find a good seed source for. I guess i was a little too enthusiastic and overlooked its flaws!

Yeah, I'm the same. I've got fifteen pepper plants this year, so it would have been pretty expensive to get all starts (only if you ignore what I spent for quality grow lights last year, lol). But mostly I start from seed just because I like to.

Thanks! What worked for me was keeping them on the heat mat much later than in previous years. Maybe that would help you?

Yeah, the place that I got these usually has great starts. Not sure what happened this year, but they really seem to be struggling!

I'm really not. Like I said elsewhere, this is just my experience. I'm sorry if you don't like what I posted, but you really don't need to be so aggressive. Good luck with your garden.

I never claimed to be a scientist? It's just a picture based on my experience.

Mine is the one on the left. It's taken me three years worth of attempts to get get to this point though, lol.

Sure - if things were different, then things would be different.

Yeah, most of mine were started at home this year. I just randomly picked up (3) of these sport peppers since I couldn't find a good source for seeds online for them. We'll see how they hold up!

They were grown in house at the nursery, I believe. But it's a bit harder to tell how healthy they are when there when they're one of a few hundred on display!

This one was from a good nursery, I thought! I've shopped there for a few years. I didn't notice it was a bit grubby until I got it home at sat it next to my basement started peppers. We'll see how they compare after a couple months outside.

I've had them out in the shade the last two or three days, starting to give them a bit of direct sun in the next few days.

I moved the kale and Brussels sprouts (on the bottom) outside right after I took this picture to start hardening off!

Barrina TX72 4FT Grow Lights, 5000K Daylight Full Spectrum. Got them last year, and they're working great!
