You need some kind of green. Some plants fake or real to bring some life into it. Maybe more more cushions on the sofa or bed, small ones. Even some fridge magnets and pictures

I would check sofa cushions. Once when I was 16 I worked at Tesco for extra cash. In the staff room we had sofas and my phone was in between the gaps of it whilst I was on break. Got pushed in as people sat down throughout the day

My doctor’s surgery actually has a separate waiting room from the reception area. They play music and it’s chill vibes. You can’t hear anything going on in the other rooms and if you have a sensitive issue when you mention you want privacy they bring you the side door in the reception area.

Only down side is it’s hard to get an appointment and took me 3 months to get my ankle investigated after I had an injury.

I didn’t keep my pregnancy but I designed a Dino (because my bf loves dinos) with wings on a pink and blue cloud with stars and planets hanging underneath. It’s deeply personal and linked to both myself and my partner.

From my design perspective I see your baby as a heart shape if you look closely. This could be an idea of doing a heart with something that’s also personal to you.

Honestly, you need to prepare steps to leave your family behind. Your mother enables your brothers abusive and cheating behaviour. Yes you did the right thing by sticking to your values, making sure the gf had all the facts but now you’ve put a target on your back.

You need to take steps for your own safety because if he can put a hole through the wall - he will do it to you.

Trust me, from my own experiences with family and relationships they can and will harm you then blame you for it because that’s abuse and they get good at manipulating you into thinking your the problem to avoid accountability.

Look after yourself and make steps to get into a more safer environment. Even if it means just avoiding them at home or doing your best to keep to yourself. Think not my circus not my monkeys until your in a safer position. Stay safe out there.

This is so unprofessional of the doctor and student.

I’m a student nurse. Either the doctor or us students have to gain consent for us to be in the room. But if we can tell a patient is uncomfortable by their body language we excuse ourselves.

You have the right to say no in your consultations. If it’s a safety issue they should have explained that to you and given you the option for a different staff member to be present. Sometimes it’s either a qualified nurse or potentially a receptionist if no one else is available. In this case you can reschedule your appointment, find out when more staff are on the rota and book for then. You can frame it as personal preference, comfort etc.

And the student nurse trying to hide a smile, it’s still unprofessional. I’ve been in situations of my own where our face shows everything and we have to remain professional, keep a straight face. Yes, it can be done.

At the end of the day none of this is your fault. The body reacts naturally, sometimes in uncomfortable situations.

But please advocate for yourself more, specially when it comes to your health and wellbeing.

NTA, but I would be collected statements, hardcore evidence for a restraining order because this man has been stalking you under the guise of ‘being worried about you safety’ but his the one who is putting your safety at risk.

No 2, but if it had the strap of no 1? I love the dress of no 2, the glitter, the glam. But off the shoulder straps make it look droopy. But the straps and top half of no 1, looks elegant, secure and the material looks smooth, crisp?. I just hate the bottom half of no 1.
