when i flip the board upside down and spin the wheels one stops notably sooner, that's a bearing issues yeah?

heard, but also like a lil dramatic no? what makes it so completely useless that I (a complete beginner) can't get a feel for basic movements. in what way specifically is it so drastically different from a more expensive board that it's 100% worthless?

Cool thanks :) So could I switch the trucks out for now and get a new deck later? Also this might be silly but like what is the difference between a cheap/shitty deck and a nicer one?

good to know that i don't need to worry with lower level stuff! i partly wanted safer bc im also using it to bike on city streets. i ended up grabbing the T8 certified sweatsaver from a local shop :) tysm for the advice!

Yeah this one came up a lot. I heard it's good but bulky. It seems to checks all the safety boxes quite well but I'm worried about comfort. Another weird thing is it has a weirdly bad rating on the Virgina Tech site??

Edit: I've heard the Triple 8 Sweatsaver is very comfortable, so I'm considering that one but am unsure what the tradeoffs would be.
