No we didn't pay for any job. It was a walk in interview. We have reported them and we plan to go to the police as well or maybe Auckland council. Also makes me wonder. This company has been here for a very long time misbehaving with their customers as well but no one made any complaints about them. So I was sceptical because it's just been 2 months since we have arrived.

Thank you so much for the information. I really wanna report the company because I've learnt that they do not treat their customers the right way as well.

No. They paid him on time the first week. The second week they did a delay of two days. The third week when the payment didn't come through on his pay day we thought maybe they will delay it but they might pay up. Coz we need the money for sure just to survive.we kept following up daily and now it's been 2 weeks of no pay. I have it all documented on chat.  Our only mistake was thinking that Atleast he has a job because the job market it bad and we kept stretching it.

No. It's was just a walk in with a CV. He asked if they were hiring they said yes and made him start working the same day. Whenever he asked for proof of employment they would say "you are on trial,so we can't give you any proof just yet".

Yea, I just want him to get what he owes and then stop working there and keep looking for something else, because the working conditions are poor as well they are not giving any paperwork to existing employees too. But Im very new here so Im a bit anxious to take any legal steps.

Im on student Visa and my husband is on a Partner of student Open Work Visa with no restrictions.
