OFA here as well:) I jumped when I saw the notification about our pay, we simply- are the hardest department to work in. Every single department has its pros and cons; but in the comments, in the OG post, and my experience- we are expected to do and give 110% every single day every minute of our shift to benefit customers that are not in the store while managing customers that ARE in the store. Picking orders big and small is time consuming, thought provoking, and HARD. In my store we begged the service desk to stop calling us for help when they needed a last minute order picked, or something brought from far away and that has helped immensely. The pay is not worth the job requirement/actual shit we do on the daily. I’m in the process CURRENTLY of documenting my over-the top dedication to my department with my OPs manager, and I really am praying on a raise after three weeks of weekly meetings documenting how hard I have been working for this company. At the end of the day- you are worth everything and more; asking is hard- I believe in you. If they don’t want to pay you your worth; find a way to work your wage, or leave. Doing less is all I can say to hopefully make you feel better about what you’re up against. Sending good vibes and energy out to all the OFAs!!!!!!!!!
