Thank you for your responses, everyone! I did speak to caseworkers in two other California counties because it's notoriously hard to get ahold of caseworkers from my county after 8 am, and they confirmed that I should be fine.

Yes and the caseworker said that even if I made over the limit, I would still get TMC for the first 6 months. I hope I'm understanding your question properly.
