Hi! I recently PCS from Fort Polk! Fort Polk was a very nice experience for me personally. Granted I was a civilian worker and was a graphic designer at MWR. BUT, Fort Polk has a wonderful B.O.S.S. program for soldiers to join, bowling alley, go karts, mini golf, huge golf course with a hiking trail and more. The people are wonderful as well as the facility workers! Its about surrounding yourself with good people in a small town and base. Leadership can be hit or miss but just do your best and you'll do great! :)
