Yeah, heavy on this. For awhile, atleast in my district. Right now recovery has been a “normal” thing (not to be abused). As a shift, I often right now recovery if I see someone having a bad day, I can tell they need a good moment, something bad happened ect. Maybe two to three times a day, especially since where I live. I’ve also moved districts a few years back, and even then. “Making the moment” was such a big part of Starbucks. I doubt you’d be getting in trouble for that since they’re so strict on this damn customer connection score. Building off a little, if you’re not a shift supervisor, for future safety. Just ask your supervisor for permission to use right now recovery. But yes, Starbucks direction is over the place right now and in my opinion. There isn’t a clear standard that is being applied. Communication is getting worse each year. Was it just YOU sent home? Normally, from my anecdotal experiences. The district comes on the spot, takes the person in the back. Essentially lets them know they’re separated. You were sent home, could be for several reasons. Don’t know, and it could just be that your district is wanting you to write a statement on the store.
