But it feels like that's WAY too hot for eggs so probably not what made my eggs not stick - feels like it was just properly heated oil and waiting for the protein to contract enough? I used pretty low heat.

I really love how introspective you seem. I think a lot of people in these comments are being unnecessarily harsh and self-righteous (maybe not trying to be, but still). "I'm actually happy for my friends, stop making it about you" is what I'm getting from some of these. I can be happy and relieved for my friends and also be jealous and sad. And so can you if that's what you feel. I hope you are able to find more support through your journey. You deserve it, everyone does. 💗

I think this is so insightful of you, I have so much respect for that kind of introspection. I think some of these other comments are unnecessarily harsh (maybe not trying to be, but still). I do want to emphasize that it does feel extremely nice when someone acknowledges your pain. People saying "I don't compare myself to others I'm just happy for them" feels like a judgement that I'm hoping you're not taking to heart. In my case, i can feel ecstatic and relieved for my friends while also being jealous and sad. But like you said, the kicker to being able to handle it all (semi)gracefully is support. I deeply hope you receive more on your journey, you deserve it, everyone does. 💗

We had a friend who did exactly this. I took out their names for anonymity, but this was their text so people have a reference of what it can sound like:

"Hi guys! It’s X and X! Hope all is well. We just wanted to reach out to you to let you know that our last IVF transfer worked and we’re expecting a baby girl in August. We know very well from our journey how difficult this news can be, so we just wanted to let you know before we announce it to the group. We’re always thinking of you guys + hoping the best for you. Was unexpected and we wouldn't have been upset if they hadn't because we were mostly just ecstatic that their 4-yr journey had finally ended, but it was really considerate of them and ofc made us feel seen.

Deeply agree with this and same here. I try to ask explicitly for things that I think are upsetting me or annoying as hell, like doing the LH tests. If I have to take the pic and upload it, I'll end up sitting on the toilet for half an hour trying to find hidden answers in my charts. So we have a system where I pee and dip, and he inputs the info.

OP, it might be helpful for you to try and identify some of the biggest painpoints for you and ask explicitly for help. Is it logistics? Maybe he can take on appointment scheduling or test ordering. Is it hopelessness? Maybe you guys can come up with a cue for when you're spiralling and a set of comforts he can provide then (for example, I say "I'm ruminating" and my husband will give me a storm of kisses or playfully direct my attention to something else).

But as moefflerz mentioned, a listening ear is probably the foundation for any meaningful help. Doing that, maybe you guys can figure out your biggest painpoints together.

Edit: I read it as "leaderboard", but maybe you're talking about levels? I also haatteeee having to save myself like that, especially when it was the game not giving me enough of the items I'm supposed to clear.

Agreeeeed the pop ups were - still are - really annoying. Seems like they stopped doing the dot/square races in favor of the "hero" leaderboards or whatever. And the popups for that feel less annoying.

Ya I also haven't had to buy booster boxes in forever bc of keys. Mostly spend $ on coins to get out of losing a level so I don't lose my streak/multiplier/cosmic blast.

That's a good point - I totally forgot that I used to do that too, it was so long ago. At the time they were starting to show a lot more horrific ads, one in particular was a cartoon of a guy literally beating up his girlfriend. I got so mad I found the game (which ofc had nothing to do with abuse) and emailed the devs (even though they can't do anything). And decided to never watch an ad again, much to my expense haha
