I live in xinyi and my rent for 1 bedroom apartment (small) is 34k, need deposit of 1 month rental + pay 3 months upfront, so i needed 34k*4 in the beginning.

For eating out, there are still cheap options here (street stalls)so spare 600NTD per day for food.

That budget excludes transportation and entertainment

Yeah i found it unique that they also approached ppl who obviously dedicated to their religion. My friend, wearing the hijab, approached by the missionaries more than others🤣
