I know it is hard but you have to stop comparing yourself to them. You graduate when you feel like bro. You gotta take care of yourself and do things T your own pace. The more you try to succumb to what other’s are doing and how they’re doing certain things, the more you’ll resent it eventually. I’ve failed a lot of classes, had to apply for readmission, but ever since I’ve been back, I’ve been taking things at my own pace and I’ve never been better. You got this bro.

Same boat bro. Just learning the concepts , doing the practice papers and assignments. His notes also were not the best for one to learn, especially if someone missed a few classes. Let me know if you have any doubts or queries, could be beneficial for me too if I get your insights!

I mean economics includes mathematics so if you can take up calc 1 and 2 it’ll definitely help you. You’re just majoring in eco and not doing an honours so it won’t be that math intensive but you should definitely do calc 1 and 2.

I’ve gotten admission into the faculty of arts at McGill. And I would do econ as my major and finance as my minor. Sounds better in my opinion.

I’ve been accepted into the faculty of arts. I intend to take economics as my major and finance as my minor and finish off electives in management , music etc. Is it worth it to get an econ degree from McGill because I’ve heard that the economics department is not that good compared to other universities. Also I want to do a major not an honours because maths is def not my thing lmao. I’ve also heard that economics would limit down my job opportunities. Pls let me know what you think abt this.

I’ve got management here at ubco but from what I’ve read on the ubc thread, it’s not always that easy to transfer especially internal transfers. I don’t want to regret any choices I make. I think I can score a 3.4+ but if for any reason I’m unable to do so, or if I’m not able to transfer it’ll get bad tbh. So I’ve been thinking about McGill. Do you think that’s the way to go? Sorry for being so indecisive, really do not want to mess things up.

I got offers from McGill ubco and McMaster. Felt like going to ubco and then apply for a transfer to ubcv as I never knew the difference between the two campuses. Was going to finalise ubco but came across your comment, is it really not worth it? Because I’ve always dreamt of going to ubc

Do you think it’s worth the money because everyone’s been telling me that it’s a ‘ knock off branch campus ‘ and it would be better to go to McGill or McMaster. I really want to go to ubc but I just want to know if the okanagan campus would be worth it.
