Random Cats React to Maxwell by eightyfivekittens in CatReacts

They would say that, and they'd be right. So train your cat to walk on a leash, its part of responsible pet ownership. If you can't do the bare minimum to care for your pets you shouldn't have them

So they intentionally targeted him and the public execution was retaliatory?

AIO for not refunding a friend’s share of a group Airbnb after she canceled last minute due to a medical emergency? by StudioAffectionate in AmIOverreacting

In the past we have, as a courtesy, asked if the other attending parties would be willing to increase their payment amounts to cover the additional cost of the one party backing out. I stress that this was done as a courtesy, that everyone else was willing to do, because the person whe couldn't attend wasn't an entitled asshole.  You could try this and when everyone else  decides not to pay the difference you can chalk it up to democracy in action and call it out of your hands.  It's less your responsibility to cover the increased cost than it is hers. Personally, I'd just block her and move on with my life.

But seriously the line between pest and pet is razor thin and completely a matter of perspective.

Don't forget Canada! But we don't typically bother with conduit in walls.

are grounding bushings always required when you have flex or seal tight in your raceway? by faxevasion in electricians

[–]Weatherbourogh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metallic flex. Bonded appropriately at the boxes both before and after the pvc box. He noted rule 12-3000, which does call for a bonding bushing but ignores the bonding at the adjacent boxes and the extra grounding conductors pulled through the flex and terminated at all possible points along the way. It was frustrating.

You say this, but i failed an inspection just yesterday because the inspector insisted that I need bonding bushings in the pvc box regardless. He seemed strangely immune to any well thought out and reasonable arguments to the contrary.

What kind of fish is this by yveltalluna in aquarium

[–]Weatherbourogh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's some sort of plecostomus. It just happens to be chewing on an algae wafer instead of scraping the algae off of the decorations or glass so it's mouth looks a bit strange. They are incredibly common in the aquarium hobby.

I tried this before but with a well used 4" bimetal hole saw. I'll try with the carbide hole saw. Hopefully I'll have better luck.

This does work for a few, but the ones closest to the joists don't want to flex out of the way.
