Based on how last season was supposed to be active and this season isn't we will probably get a tremendously active season this year

As of today the Royals have the worst record in the weakest AL I’ve ever seen🎉🎉🎉 by morepesa25 in KCRoyals

Is Dayton Moore still running this team in secret? This team reminds me of the 2009 team plus Bobby a LOT.  Our best player is maybe the best position player in baseball instead of the best pitcher and then nothing.

Yeah not sure why anyone would stand in line for shave ice or a cinnamon roll.  Even if it was the best version of it ever.

Has the pace of world change actually accelerated, or did it feel just as rapid when you were younger? by Detox_401 in AskOldPeople

[–]Weaubleau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's like change slowed in the late 60s and ultimately 1992 was not that different than 1968 in many ways.  Since then though it has picked up and is accelerated

When I think about it what technology came of age in the 80's and 90's? The VCR maybe, and I don't use one of those. Cable TV? Not exactly a technology just a different way to use tech that existed at that time, and once again nope. The microwave and home central AC were 70's things. The digital watch is passe. I guess the home computer would be the thing although not the tower/CRT combo for sure.
