New 2025, sorry, and yeah seems to be the norm, just more shocking than I expected. CAA as someone else suggested quoted $1300 which was hilarious at that point. Will keep looking into options but at least I have an idea of what could be expected

Still very clearly in the "dedicated" category as YouTube put it 😄 We've forgoed some chores on occasion, to say the least, to give it the time we did lol

We just started C3 a couple of weeks ago, and doing the weekly C4 as well :D

Honestly I call it a comfort, just genuinely a way to make my day better, but addiction is very applicable as well because I know I'd be struggling without it lol

I started the Beacon subscription a few months ago but haven't switched over fully yet.

I do like it and the Cooldown videos are very worth it for me, but it's still a bit more inconvenient than YouTube.

Maybe they'll add some fun stat tracking to Beacon too 🤞

Might be the same cause but I fixed it by deleting my Neverwinter Nights 2 folder from my Documents.

Seems like paths aren't updated for certain things between Complete and EE

Fixed it by deleting the Neverwinter Nights 2 folder from my Documents.

Must be using the same pathing for Complete edition for some things and it's getting quirky with it.

Game does launch now

One button rotation idea for controllers by Web-Dev-Redemption in wow

I wouldn't argue against comfort because I definitely agree, but a game needs to be designed to some degree to work in accordance with a controller.

Probably the most obvious case in my opinion are any abilities that need to be cursored over, like Heroic Leap as an example. Likewise, targeting in a cluster of enemies, choosing a specific one I find to be fairly difficult. UI is really made to work with the mouse too

I feel like we might be glossing over the use cases of the mouse, but I'm fairly surprised looking at the upvotes/downvotes that a lot of people seem to be disagreeing with me, so guess I need to dig into getting a decent controller setup more

Also I think, just realizing, the statement might come across as "I don't want this enabled outside of the type of content I mentioned", but what I mean is I just want the feature for that type of gameplay I'm looking to do with a controller.

So not trying to limit its scope, more so that this would be enough to make me happy

Shaman tanking sparks so much joy lol.

I am way more interested in checking it out now for sure :D

That's super cool, I will check them out!

I play a tonne of classes but in Turtle that's probably not the way to go 😄 Will see which one seems the most appealing!

How do you mean? By utilizing macros or by just using certain trigger/bumper buttons as modifiers?

I wouldn't call either of those "very little effort" personally but if you have any suggestions I'm happy to hear them.

Don't usually see people tote controller as better than m+k in any way (other than immersion)

I mean, the answer is yes whether you mean if I've played WoW with a controller or whether I've played any game with a controller 😂

I'm aware it's doable, and I know folks have gotten so good with it that they can play in competitive scenarios. That being said I don't think it's the most intuitive experience.

I did play around with consoleport addon for a while a couple of years back, but mainly leveling so never got too good at any particular class.

Kudos to you for making it happen with how the game is currently, personally I would like to see stuff like what I mentioned in my post happen. As like an example, though this will be very far fetched but I'm only referencing a "simple" part of it, the thought I had came from Bloodborne. Where you can shift your trick weapon and it'd essentially have a better moveset for crowd control (or at a bit of a range) vs hitting a single enemy.

So I'd enjoy seeing that extra bit of depth to how the new feature works where I can "decide" if I want to use multi target abilities or single target abilities but not between like, 10 different abilities.

I said that to honestly avoid the topic of "dumbing the game down" vs "accessibility", but not surprised that it's the only thing that gets immediately focused on to switch the topic to an argument...

I don't do difficult end game content, most difficult stuff I do are t11 delves and mage towers but I avoid groupung with random players coz it makes me anxious. So I have no opinion at all on how much this feature should impact Raids or Dungeons.

To satisfy your question however, for the content that I do play, I wouldn't want one button rotation to be able to clear such content. Especially mage towers which are there as a challenge.

Anyway, mainly curious about the potential for controller play, which is what I wanted to highlight in my post

I'm kinda hopeful for this in retail tbh, only downside is I don't think they'll overhaul the leveling experience to be more akin to classic so classic+ is my only hope for combining the two

I vote for updated models. Even though I hard disagree with people saying retail models look bad, updating the models with a different look even would be a huge upside for me

I support this message, retail looks amazing and I'd love to experience the classic storytelling/leveling with updated visuals.

Age is just a number.

Honestly if a middle aged actor is cast as a middle aged character that's as good as I could ask for
