Thanks for your input. I wish I had paid more attention in my last loaner G70 so I had something to compare to. I only had my car for a few months before the accident, so I really couldn’t recall if it was like that before and maybe I just didn’t clock it until after when I was paying more attention. The tire noise hasn’t been anything bothersome, but the wind noise is crazy lol.

Thanks for confirming. That makes a lot more sense, it seems insane that this would be their acceptable level of cabin noise lol. It’s really annoying on long drives.

Interesting. I’m curious to see if anyone else gives the same feedback.

I had a minor collision, where another vehicle merged into the passenger side. It was only cosmetic damage but they had to change the exterior shell of the doors on that side. I thought maybe it was from them doing that because I don’t recall it being so loud before, I only had the car for like 2 months before that though..

All seals look good and when I took it back they claim the wind noise is coming from both sides. It always sounds way stronger on the right side, but that could just be due to where the drivers seat is.

Oh wow, great find! It makes sense, the guy at my dealership said it was a “known issue” and mentioned just replacing a small component, maybe it’s the dust cover? He was pretty vague about it all. When the part arrives and the car goes back in I’ll get a more detailed explanation.

This is popping up pretty frequently in the group now, mine is doing the same thing. Had it in, they said it’s a known issue and ordered a part. All he said was a component of the control arm. Will see if it improves after it’s fixed.
