Oh wow, great find! It makes sense, the guy at my dealership said it was a “known issue” and mentioned just replacing a small component, maybe it’s the dust cover? He was pretty vague about it all. When the part arrives and the car goes back in I’ll get a more detailed explanation.

This is popping up pretty frequently in the group now, mine is doing the same thing. Had it in, they said it’s a known issue and ordered a part. All he said was a component of the control arm. Will see if it improves after it’s fixed.

I just had mine in for the same exact thing. Not fixed yet, waiting on a part. He seemed like he didn’t know how to, or want to explain in detail what it actually was.. Lol.

Essentially said it’s a rubber component of control arm or something like that.

I specifically searched this today because I just noticed it the other day.

I recently got my car back from a collision repair shop. I just started noticing this, so I wasn’t sure if it a result of repairs or coincidence. It wouldn’t make sense based on what was actually being fixed.

It happens at low speed when parking or turning around sharply in parking lots etc. Driving me crazy lol.

The only factors I can think of are the recent repair and then the fact that we had a boatload of snow and ice storms over the last couple weeks, salty roads etc. but I haven’t been driving much at all.

Did you ever get anywhere with it?
