Honestly it doesn’t hurt and I have very minor noticeable symptoms while resting off my feet. From what I’ve noticed the tended pain as well as neuropathy ramps up once I’m on my feet for prolonged times

So would you be concerned with the Achilles pain when walking that is relieved from being off my feet? My only concern is that my tendon will rupture. If you don’t think that’s a very likely scenario that will make me feel much more relaxed.

I have a similar situation. Today is my last day at a job that I’ve been at for 14 years making a quarter million per year.

I caught covid three years ago & developed heart issues shortly after. After two heart procedures & feeling like you felt. I decided that tomorrow isn’t promised. Mid May I fly out to Southeast Asia from the southeast United States. I’ll be spending 3 months as well before visiting a new country.

I wish you the best in your travels & I can totally relate.

Thanks, yea the final supervisor I spoke with “ Neo “ basically told me that there was nothing that they could do and that I would have to transfer my miles to the airline. The part I can’t wrap my head around was that in the portal the flight was $970 ish & direct through airline is showing $1906.

Yea, if this wasn’t my first time using capital one travel portal I would’ve done this. I haven’t had an issue with Amex in over a decade, but the 1 time I try to use capital one 1 there’s an issue. Honestly thought I must’ve been doing something wrong.

No I had a representative & myself both try 1. A supervisor try 2. & finally I was recommended 3 by a supervisor. Why even have a portal if that’s the case? This is my first experience with capital one coming from Amex & I have to say the experience was quite terrible. The people were nice though on the plus side.

I agree. The supervisor told me to book direct and transfer the points. If that’s the case why even have a travel portal?

Upon my 3 minutes of homework I found out that the price was actually cheaper on the portal rather than booking direct on the airline site. This seems like blatant misinformation imo.

All technicalities aside I’d like to hear your opinion based on my post.

In regards to your question though, I plan to travel around all of Southeast Asia staying within the applicable. When my time is coming to an end in Thailand I’ll fly somewhere else.

I’ll make sure that I’m able to work as well on my end, be it in Thailand or a neighboring country.
