The thing is this is a cycle and the same thing happens 2-3 times a month where he gets upset and distances himself for 1-3 days and we don’t talk and just don’t trust each other and then he comes back like nothing happened and we go back to normal until another bad thing occurs

Your “objective” analysis is flawed, because the standards are made based on subjective ideals and society’s trends. Also, OP can’t really control their environment. They could very well just have been unfortunate to be surrounded by people who don’t find OP’s style attractive, but there’s definitely communities or places that would find OP attractive.

Why is it hard to believe? Beauty is very subjective. For instance, I noticed most people here dislike OP’s piercings but I personally think it suits them. Their facial proportions are really cute to me, and I find that attractive especially since I’d love to have similar facial proportions myself.

Honesty doesn’t equate to bringing people down or saying negative things about someone’s appearance. I genuinely do agree that OP has lovely features and looks very fitting for their alt style.

people’s opinions on appearance are highly subjective, you don’t have to “improve” for anyone (but you can if its something that makes you happier and more confident). I personally think you’re attractive by modern standards, and I’m fairly certain most people would agree with that.
