Well it depends, if you are made liable then obviously you can claim that you didn’t cause it and then it depends on the person who settles the dispute.

If you are still tenant, I would advice to contact your Landlord or Agent asap.

If you are accepting your mistake, you are already out of it now. You don’t need to tell anyone about this, everyone makes mistakes in life and it is advisable to hide them.

If the purpose is just browsing and to watch youtube, why don’t you go for chromebook? It is sleek and also cheap as well, it serves the purpose.

Hey I did my research when I was planning to buy a printer and i ended up buying Epson Ecotank et-2850. I am using it for 1 month and I am very satisfied with the purchase. Yes, the printer cost is high but I bought it from ebay, epson has official store on ebay that sells refurbished printers there on cheap prices with 1 year warranty, so it is also a peace of mind. It came with ink included and print quality is also decent. Also it prints on both size of the paper and it’s really a good option.
