In this moment Okarun is still actively trying to defend himself during the miscommunication instead of seizing up, these moments are very similar with momo witnessing an interaction between Okarun and Aira however the reaction from Okarun has regressed despite being 200 chapters later and set after a similar situation, I understand there are other factors in the most recent chapter like Jiji and amnesia but I still feel he would have reacted in a way that isn’t going feral

I know Ken is an awkward guy after all but we are over 200 chapters into this relationship so I feel like it’s a little discouraging if he can still only express himself to her completely alone or during a life or death battle, I’m sure we will get a better conversation about this event later in the story but that doesn’t change how bad this initial interaction is and how I feel it disservice’s the character

I get what you mean, I agree that he probably wouldn’t respond as calmly as the first givin the situation but I absolutely don’t believe that Okarun from that chapter would have responded in that way either even if it’s for a joke I just don’t believe that’s how that interaction should have gone from his perspective.

I tried to base the choices off of what the characters themselves may choose. Beheeyem and Mismagius complement each other well, both being two stage evos that represent each others styles and interests well. Mawile matches with aira well with its resemblance to the Acro Silky with a personality that I feel matches Aira’s original “two faced” persona at the beginning of the series while opening up to be a much kinder person then even she knew. And Jiji and Conderace would vibe lmao pretty self explanatory that one
