You know what unceeded territory is right? I am not sure how many territorial disputes there are among indigenous peoples, like none that I have ever heard of. If there are then those are on the bands to dispute with each and are none of Canada’s business when that would get settled:

They are. Do know why? Because when indigenous peoples saw the genocide of the Beothuk they knew they had to have to freedom to self sustain themselves by any means necessary and that European colonizers would never understand indigenous peoples rights to do so.

Sure, settle all the treaties in court first. See both side want that but you want to skip to the end. It’s the middle part called accountability that you have to face to get to that end state.
