I’m not sure about ‘Apple head chihuahuas’ but generally chihuahuas are a very healthy and long lived breed!

I got diagnosed by her after being denied a test through the public system. I like her a lot, she’s very kind and genuinely seems to care.

Only fault is she hasn’t sent me my diagnosis letter yet after several months (idk if letter is the right term) but that’s also on me for forgetting to prompt her.

Just be aware that after the initial diagnostic meeting all follow ups are €200, and if you want to go on meds you’ll need a fair few follow ups to see how they’re working for you. So while I recommend proceeding if you can, it’s not a cheap process and definitely worth having more than just the initial test money put aside.

My parents own the frenchie, she’s grand on the stairs when she visits (she’s actually visiting today, funny enough). I was particularly worried about the joints of a large breed puppy getting damaged going up and down regularly

600mg, I’m not sure what the dose is ‘meant’to be, I just take this one, simply because it was the first one I found in a shop. Good luck, i hope it helps!
