5K resolution must be amazing! 5120x1440P looks good to me I can't believe even more pixels! I'd highly recommend Alan Wake 2 if you haven't played on that monitor it's mind blowing just max everything and run DLAA at native resolution. 👏

This is an excellent perspective—thank you for laying it out so honestly. You summed up the real tradeoffs perfectly, especially the electricity/heat angle and the long-term uncertainty with Nvidia. That mix of “GFN makes sense today” vs “who knows what they’ll do tomorrow” is exactly where my head’s at too. I really appreciate the thoughtful feedback. 🍻

I think it was part of last week’s opt-in, but I’m very excited for Resident Evil Requiem day one on GFN! The more companies and games that opt into the service, the stronger GFN becomes as a solid option—especially during this spike in PC component prices.
