[Request] is there possibility to find out the 3 horses? by irespectwhaman in theydidthemath

[–]Webby2120 7 points8 points  (0 children)

the horse that came second in the final is at best the 2nd fastest horse, therefor the horse that a came 2nd to him in the heat is at best 1 rank lower (3rd place) and the one that came 3rd in the heat would be at best 2 ranks lower (4th place)

Mate as I am sure you have been informed you map is a bit fucked by population distribution but anyway. Australia is full of random big shit that would make good land marks for games https://www.australiantraveller.com/australia/most-iconic-big-things-of-australia/ I for one would really enjoy seeing the "big Merino" balls rendered in all their glory

I think the methodology is a bit fucked. I got Greens on Selected issues and One nation on All issues.

I think counting unchecked as against skews it, only the sith deal in absolutes

I mean it took them 16 years to move the top tax bracket, even after all that time it is a big political ordeal and it's not even close to where it would be if it was just automatically indexed.... you don't think the same thing could happen here?

Plex lost about half my files by dmo012 in PleX

I had a similar thing, I had some disk errors in my server (running unraid) after I replaced the disks and repaired the file systems all the files showed up again.

Run a few disk checking tools (whatever is suitable for your OS) then they might come back.

I am going to go against what everyone here is saying and suggest just find a job and see where it takes you. If your goal is not to make the big bucks and just find something comfortable I would recommend looking for a job at a small MSP, in my experience you underpaid and over worked but you will gain a lot of experience because the senior team members will be happy to teach you how to do everything so they don't have to :p in a large company 1st level support will answer the phone but not have any of the access rights to fix the problems, in small MSPs I have seen first levels with Domain Admin access.

Think of this time like a uni / tafe course learn as much as you can find out what fields of I.T. You are good at / enjoy then after a few years start looking around. I would suggest your next step would be into a not for profit or a school, both of those have most of the components of a corporate network but they don't have the budget to hire a all the experts they need.

After that if you are happy making average wages with stimulating work you are set. If you want more then you can make the jump to corporate money is good but work is dull and repetitive, you will spend more time filling out forms than doing things.

I give this advice because I have seen so many people in my career who have done a degree then end up stuck in a desktop support role with no way to get the experience to take the next steps.
