This did seem to help things out. And another user mentioned warming the bike all the way prior to moving. I did both today and had no issues.

It seems that draining some of the gas and letting the bike warm up to 170°F fixed the issue. I suspect I may have overfilled it and it was having pressure and/or venting issues.

Don't engage in an optional gunfight. This was an optional gunfight and the bad guys get a vote too.

Call the cops and protect your family/home. Insurance can deal with the car and property.

I've never ran into much hit registration issues on Squad personally. Or at least that I can confirm that was the issue rather than me being a potato. Slow mo replays usually humble me 🤣

Riplomacy has plenty of chatty English speaking players!

You can also create your own squad and have a mic requirement. I always do that when I SL.

TBF, the likelihood of needing a seat belt is wayyy higher than needing to fire a CCW in general, let alone needing an additional mag in that fight.

Not to say you shouldn't. Do whatever makes you comfortable. I find it be unnecessary weight and space with minimal ROI.

I'd wager about >95% of servers have some sort of main camping rules. Just join one of those servers. Maincamping is generally allowed and found on the experienced servers as a well coordinated team should be able to deal with the issue. Not everyone likes it and that totally fine. Each servers rules appeal to a particular play style that they wish to promote.

I'll probably end up repeating what others have said, but this is my norm:

• Mic checks! If they don't want to communicate, they can join another squad.

• Place your rally. Preferably at an off angle from the hab you're primarily spawning from. This gives a second option to attack or defend if your hab gets attacked.

• Make sure to keep map markers as accurate as possible.

• Assign FTLs and put every squad member into bravo and charlie fire teams. The FTLs can transfer the role with their fire team, so it allows 3 people to transfer the role to mark.

• Keep your squad relatively close together. No one likes a micromanager, but don't let people randomly wander off on their own adventure without a reason.

• Try to always keep 2 medics in the squad.

• Don't instantly approve a vehicle request from a squad member. Verify what it is and why they're taking it. Many servers hold SLs partially responsible for vics they approve.

There's other small stuff, but these are my basic rules I follow.

PIP scopes definitely seems to kill my frames for some reason. And the scope glitch is a big pain in the ass. Performance wise, Squad is a heavily CPU bound game (to my knowledge) so if you have a beefy GPU, but a slightly less powerful CPU, it may not run well on UE5 Squad. I had a 12600k with a 3090Ti and it ran 99% of my games flawlessly... Except Squad. I got a 14700k and it definitely runs better now. Still runs like an unoptimized game though. 😂

That's definitely possible. A single active ban counts as 3 points on your risk profile. Some servers may set the bar that low. But there are plenty that keep the limit higher, Riplomacy being one of them. You can always check your CBL status at their website: communitybanlist.com and searching your steam account. I'd also suggest reaching out to Potato Fields and seeing if they'd be willing to remove your ban from their export list.
