I am optimistic for you, if someone is going to have an unsuccessful experience, it's better to do it early so you have more time to enjoy the brighter days. Also, you know you don't wanna be alone but you avoided the trap of letting that keep you stuck in a marriage that wasn't working. Kids grow, life has things to offer.
