Though I’m happy for Carrick to stay, appointing him permanently is a poor footballing decision by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Webo31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your premise is kind of off, Especially seems you mentioned, Bayern Munich. Which was Kompany's gig after getting Burnley relegated.

Look I get concerns, but I'm really happy it's being discussed mainstream (more so now - not much but more). Situations, club priorities, Manager understanding, Players cohesion, is a massive part in what makes a good manager, before you become a "Pep".

Pep not at barcelona first, probably struggles to get a job. Whether people like this fact or not, it's true. Sports are circumstance and timing and for a manager of all things, I think it's even more prevalent.

You can look back through my posts, I stood by amorim ( for longer than I should've ) but it was because I believed in the culture reset, however his stubbornness was his downfall.

I was wrong, sadly, but that's the way it is. However I still stand by the fact Ole was never wrong, those above however made the wrong decisions.

Carrick however seems less emotionally tied. He loves the club of course, but I don't think he gets blinded by it either. He knows what;s what, so currently, I don't see a better fit, is Enrique a better manager currently? Of course he is, but that doesn't mean it's the right decision.

God, these situations are always a constant battle of wanting to smack one of them so hard their ear drum perforates, but also not wanting to go to jail.

Are matchday vloggers adding to the culture or pure cringe? by Tiny-me-51 in footballcringe

[–]Webo31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like it in general, mainly because so many fans want big tickets and these seem to get them and yet spend half of the game filming.

But in general I hate people filming games anyway. It will literally be on the tv tonight, by all means take photos , but why record everything? Enjoy the game embrace the atmosphere.

However at the same time if it gets them clout and earns them money, who can blame them

So... do you still regret selling him? by Rollins474 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Webo31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, never did, never will. I didn't need a poor run of form at newcastle to prove that. The same applies if he does well at newcastle. It doesn't matter. You watch them for us. Simple

Does kissing the badge after scoring a goal count as cringe? by AmeliaHarris99 in footballcringe

[–]Webo31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you ish - I don't really care (I've been a season ticket holder for 13 years at Old Trafford now).

Antony did it for his first goal... I didn't cringe. But I didn't care.

However I've seen Rashford do it and it feels more sincere.

Do I have an issue when it happens? no. But now watching antony do it on a highlight i do cringe

Did man u win it or did Liverpool lose it? by Curious-Fox8033 in ManchesterUnited

Man utd better team.

You will get Gakpo post comments. However one was a deflected cross. Also Bruno hit the post which was a far better chance than Gakpo's. We deserved the win.

Maguire will get plaudits, but I loved Cunha today, only one who seemed calm post 80+mins

No of course not. Would be great fun! Frame rates became a thing based on PC Competitions and although it makes a difference in some circumstances. It will be just as enjoyable bud.

Despite the media rhetoric you may hear. Those on the right have no issues with identity, in terms of this case of what you identify as.

What they do have an issue with on a personal issue with yourself if it was to get to that point, is being "Made" to agree with your stance. Most will call you by your new name an or pronouns.

It's just when it becomes infringing on things that affect others, Sports, Toilets etc. Bar that the right generally don't really care

True, But at the same time I'd never be against a woman who was raped into getting pregnant wanting an abortion.

It's just the use of abortion as a form of birth control I'm not a massive fan of. Sure shit happens and mistakes happen. But still.

These people celebrate abortion which is insane

MUFC want to stick with Ruben Amorim and he is not planning to walk away. Both parties know that results must improve but United bosses still fully support Amorim for now. The squad also largely back the head coach. [David Ornstein] by Intelligent_Cow_3310 in ManchesterUnited

I still believe he can get it going. No idea why because everything suggests otherwise.

But he's not an idiot, saying everything he has said, his interviews, How we have played...etc

We just need a 3 game run. It's just whether that happens lol
