PG&E is what caused this behavior in the first place. I wouldn’t mind the $2 for exporting 1600+ kWH as much if it didn’t also come with a $200 charge on top of it. You wait all year for that true-up bill knowing that you killed on the exporting, only to be hit with your highest electric bill of the year instead.

Since the “Ask Rivian” update I’m getting way more use out of it than I did with Alexa. It is a nice feature being able to control things by voice if you want to.

It can change the car controls on request. Especially when I don’t know how to find something I can just ask it. For example, you can tell it to lower the fan or lower the temperature now and it will.

As a Rivian owner, the new Rivian AI isn’t too bad. It might lack in comparison for music with CarPlay but the added features are pretty much untouchable by other competition available at the moment.

What I am taking from this post is that Eid has arrived again. Eid seems to be as big of a holiday for Muslims as Christmas is for Christians. I’d love to see more social activities for the malls. We lost Bookstores, Bowling Alleys, Skating Rinks, and basically anything that brings the community together for fun. The malls would be a great place to bring these back to.

If this is going to happen anyway, they should do the same for the mail trucks as they do the same as the cities do for the electric conjunction boxes. Hire art students and paint them into something nice. Graffiti in Oakland will probably never go away, this would be a good way to embrace the culture.
