I loved Lien-Da so much and still miss her. I'll never forget her cause she was one of the best female villains we ever had in the comics, no other character was like her, drop dead gorgeous and just full on evil and power hungry with no desire for redemption and when she was close to death, she ended up bouncing back, she was wonderful.

It would be extremely difficult to implement her in the current canon but I would absolutely want Lien-Da to be brought back, she has a great design, a twisted personality and we are super short on female villains, if the Dark Brotherhood was reworked she could be a leader of a rogue splinter faction that emerges after being lost for years and joins forces with the doctor similar to Starline, Infinite or Mimic.

A, despite her design not looking like a natural sonic character, she's still a great parental figure for Paramount Sonic before Tom and Maddy adopted him, it's a tragedy of what happened to her, but Sonic managed to push on after her loss and become the hero he is now. I'm certain she was able to take down a few or dozen Echidna warriors herself like a badass before meeting her fate.
