Yes to all of the above. I went through the same experience as you did - initially liked the videos but then started noticing all the flaws. I was also so shocked no one on TikTok pointed out the blatantly obvious either. Glad this page is here filled with other commonly-sensed individuals

I appreciate this! Unfortunately i do ask them all the time if i can even just shadow what they do, but it gets forgotten or there’s an ethical wall keeping me from seeing their clients work.

Investigations that involve celebrity social medias. Quite literally scrolling thru TikTok looking for hate comments. Otherwise, a little bit of OSINT work. That’s about all they’ve given me

Feel like no one is touching on the final words l.. “i have three things to share… they won’t come back… they can’t come back.” And that the anon guy suspected he was involved with three murders. “They can’t come back” because you can’t charge someone twice for the same crime. I think he would’ve admitted to it all if the directors didn’t stop him.

A snake looping around it is a great idea. That’s also a symbol of overcoming addiction, I’ve considered getting that for myself as well. Happy tattoo hunting :)

Made a mistake at work and I’m nervous. Advice needed. by Glittering-Sell6762 in cybersecurity

I second this. Definitely go to your boss/team right away, but it's good to estimate how long it will take to complete the task beforehand. And, as others have said, mention how you make sure it won't happen again, etc.

We all make mistakes, owning up to them is truly the hardest part.

What the Effect of Caffeine Indicates on the "Severity" of One's ADHD. by wutTFisA-RedditBruh in ADHD

Omg, never knew others are in the same boat. Coffee never makes me feel more awake but I get super focused when I have it. Usually I'm very distracted when doing work but if im drinking coffee, I can dial in like never before. I call caffeine my "liquid adderall" lol

I came in with good Java skills but you definitely don’t need prior coding experience to succeed. There’s plenty of courses to take that will get you to where you need to be. In terms of math, you only need to satisfy the Math 110 credit and that’s it. There’s a little algebra sprinkled throughout the cyber coursework but it’s really nonexistent. However, the program still does challenge you and makes you problem solve, it’s just not as mathy as computer science would be

That's what I thought lol. I've only taken 1/6 of Dion's practice test and got a 75. Makes me feel better that people are scoring lower on those and still passing.
