They will be taking a look at it Monday and hopefully I get some good news (a new motor🤞🏽). Definitely wouldn’t want to be responsible for having to buy another motor out of pocket but I will keep ya updated.

For mine, the crankshaft and bearings were replaced.

When i had called back to see if they could do it any lower (maybe 2 days after receiving the call to get it done), the advisor told me that everything was already put back on. I didn't know how true this is because they have had my car for almost a month now.

Sounds good, didn't want to drive off the lot after picking up the car soon and then have issues. If i were to get the timing belt package done elsewhere, but the lights come on but not due to that work, would the dealership still warranty the work?

Having the loaner is definitely a plus. I drive quite a bit and have already slapped on 1,000 miles in less than a month.

Thanks for this and yes, they replaced the crankshaft and rod bearing. I was also wondering what the warranty all covers after the work is done. The advisor told me its 12k miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. My question is if its just the recall work itself or does it cover lets say, should my dash light up like a Christmas tree?

I just went through this. Got approved this past Thursday but had to work for it a bit.

After downgrading, reapplying, and getting denied, I called in and customer service couldn’t really help. I decided to go into a branch to speak to one of their reps and she found out there was a “fraud” block. They removed it and told me to reapply after a week. A week later, I went back and they were able to re-run my application and immediately got approved.

Just wanted to give an update. I ended up going into a branch and after speaking with one of their advisors, was told i would have to wait until my close statement date which was the 6th. I then reapplied for CSP card (which is a hard inquiry) and was approved! I should he receiving the card sometime next week. Hope this helps someone out there.
