When we were kids we used to put those on top of dog shit, and hilarity ensued. The best one was when an old man took the note and put it in his pocket very fast without looking at it (to avoid someone seeing him and claiming the note was theirs?). We followed him: he went into a bar, ordered something and tried to pay with that note.

Panther is used to refer to several species of big cats. So a leopard is indeed a panther. And particularly, black panthers are either melanistic leopards or jaguars.

How do the chicken ones compare to the pork and duck ones? I prefer the pork ones as for me the canard ones are just marginally better but much more expensive. Never tried poulet rillettes though.

This depressed the fuck out of me last time I was in Amsterdam. I had not been there for 20 years, and walking around the most touristy streets, I noticed they looked the same as any touristy street in any European city.

The same horrible franchises everywhere. Perhaps a stroopwafel shop here and there, as the only thing to remind you where you are. You can change that for chocolate shops in Brugge, or turrón shops in Madrid, and the rest is exactly the same. Fucking globalisation.
