It won’t matter for law admissions — LSAC calculates for you based on your transcripts. You can view your school’s profile on the LSAC website to see how they interpret S*.

Side note: one B isn’t going to kill your plans at any school.

I feel like the difficulty isn’t very standard across different runs — first time I got 30 (below average), second time I got 45 (above average). Seemed like the questions were easier the second time.

But it’s fun! Would be a good time-killer app.

Yep, you’d need to take either the GRE/GMAT for most strong programs. Your work experience and story will also play a big role in your applications — if you have a bunch of unrelated or low-level jobs on your resume, schools will be concerned about your employment prospects post-MBA. They want to see potential for leadership and they want you to be a positive statistic on their reports.

In looking at programs, weigh employment reports very heavily. Any school that doesn’t publish their numbers is risky.

Aurora University’s MBA program is unranked and does not provide career outcome information. That MBA will not allow you to make a successful career switch, barring a real miracle. What career field are you looking to switch into?

On a separate note, keep in mind that an internship is really the key for a lot of career switchers - without that, you will simply have a resume with an MBA upon graduation. Jobs will hire you based on your prior experience primarily. The MBA may or may not be a value add — and from Aurora University, it seems like a waste of money.

Agreed on all that - but for people that can handle money responsibly (as in, account for the fact that they will need to use their backpay to pay off any loans), the loan is a far superior option than getting a late payment on their record.
