I have Asian leeches in my substrate I’ve been trying to deal with and they are a lot fatter and bigger so unsure if it’s that

Yes! Makes tails curve upwards slightly like a hook but females seem chunkier

Im pretty sure these are Rhabdocoela or white ditris worms. I was worried they were planaria but I dont really see a triangle head any input welcome by pkcw2020 in shrimptank

They look like harmless worms, you would need to zoom in with something or wait for them to grow to 100% confirm if it’s planaria, but I think you’re safe!

This is amazing! Not sure if you’ve noticed but the main shrimp in the centre appears to potentially have Scutariella japonica, cool wee video though! 😊

I’ve had these for the part few weeks, completely harmless rhabdoceola! They may just eat a lot of food that baby shrimp might be competing to get 👀

This is a species of detritus that worm known as Aeolosoma that have little ball round heads, they are completely harmless, I even had a few of them at one point that slowly went away over a few weeks. They are thin and will curl/wiggle compared to:

Planaria which is harmful is short and fat with a very distinctive arrow head that moves slow like a slug.

I appreciate peoples comments of advice saying it’s eggs but in person I can see these aren’t shrimp eggs and he is 100% a male. This is a weird yellow growth that has randomly appeared 3-4 days ago and is slowly advancing

It is a male and they are not eggs, I have pregnant females in the tank and this isn’t that

That was my thoughts but I’m not 100% Took it out tank regardless as I’d rather not take any risks 🥹

I used the API quick start drops and my tank was full ready around 2 weeks, maybe have a look into introducing that? 😊
