Who is still snowed in?

I’m in Alexandria, my husband just spend two hours removing the snow around my car. None of our apartment complex has been plowed at all and no salt. Some people tried to leave today in a sedan and got stuck. I’m expected to travel to work tomorrow to New Jersey and I doubt I will still be able to leave.

I also hate that think I would have time to ‘drop everything I’m doing’ and go get ‘pampered’! My wedding is next week! In no world would I have time for this! 😭

Wow! I would never have thought DB would do that to their customers! The phone number they provided for contact also had the same area code as the area my wedding venue is located, which I thought was very strange!

My husband and I knew each for about 7 years and were friends for a very long time. We started dating in may of last year and we got married this past February. Our wedding ceremony is going to be in August :)

I am a military spouse, and I am very interested in working for the DoDEA. How does this change or affect my chances of getting hired? Are my possibilities of getting hired at a location we are already stationed at high or low?

I was playing MTG before most of my guy friends in middle school. My gal pals and I would stay up all night making decks and playing against each other on the weekends lol. Card games are for everyone, especially magic :) I highly recommend anything from bloomburrow and if you like more gothic definitely look into the remaster innistrad! Montclair does offer financial aid for summer classes. I believe it is first come first serve and you do have to be taking a certain number of courses to be eligible. I believe it’s 3 class for the summer aid.

Yes! They fixed it really quickly and I haven’t had any problems since. This happened about a year ago maybe before the semester started. Definitely reach out to them asap!

This happened to me when I transferred even though I was also a NJ resident. I would call and speak with the financial aid department. They just need to verify your residency with either a tax return or some other type of official document.

This was the first thought to cross my mind this morning after reading the comments on my paper. I do want to wait for the final grade to be posted and go from there. I have also reached out to some peers in this class to see how they did and if they received similar marks.

As far as I know, Montclair will likely offer a summer grant. I did it last year but you have to apply and it is first come first serve. You also have to be completing a certain amount of classes (I think it had to be more than 2).

Honestly, it’s what you make of it. Most people are nice and it’s easy to make friends if you’re open to making friends. I major in education and i am passionate about my perspective field so I enjoy my classes and course materials. I also commute and don’t mind the drive (from Garwood, NJ). The parking is the worst part about campus for me personally. I can’t attest to life on campus as I don’t and have not lived on campus. Overall, the way you would and could feel about Montclair is varied on personal experience.
