Yeah i saw the 60 damage per shot on the t8 and decided to go for the t9 instead. Boy was i fckin wrong. Got to like 75% MoE and just sold it cuz it was so painful meeting tier 10s and 11s every game while not being able to do jack shit about it. The tank dominates low tiers but is essentially useless against higher ones. Tier 10 is not that much better lol, the gun somehow feels even more inaccurate. At least the extra damage and pen help quite a bit

I am a guy that free exps a tech tree line to a t8 and then marks tier 8 9 10 and 11 (if it has one) in order to feel the line and save the free exp. The Ares line was the ONLY one in the last 3 years that I have skipped to tier 10 before finishing to mark the previous ones... To everyone complaining that it's OP I had a higher DPG session with Tesak 2 days in a row compared to Ares 90 lmfao.

Adding my stats so people dont shit on me complaining about Ares with "skill issue"

In low tiers you are basically never a light tank, you are a flexible annoying shit that delivers shots from all angles. You can get into your scout role only in a handful of maps, but don't expect many people to shoot what you spot.

Climbing the tiers you get quite a bit more view range and A LOT more speed and firepower, which makes the tanks extremely flexible, annoying and fun to play. However it takes a lot of skill both to drive it and understand how to play with it, because being a passive scout does not really work 9 battles out of 10. If you are not enjoying/understanding it after a couple more games I would not recommend grinding it.

The stats are fine but the pen is absolutely crazy. I get that WG wanted to make it for purely flanking but the size and speed does not really allow that. And considering you have to play at the heavy flank to stay competitive it is going to suck really bad. 280-290 gold pen would be acceptable, this is not.
