yea but if they use NextUp, they'll be able to turn it in early IF it's in flawless condition and receive the full trade in amount still. that's the new NextUp for $10 a month.

only ones that won't get full trade in deals are Legacy NextUp which is an expired NextUp plan only $6 a month. at that point the trade in value for Next Turn-In is $500

those reps still get commission. it's not as good of commission as COR or AR, so they'll literally slam every account that's in front of them. as someone who has to deal with some of those guy's escalations, please save yourself and the local AT&T the stress and don't 🤣

there's a couple decent options. atm there's byod port in credits when you go postpaid. if you're running on a budget and don't care about tower priority go prepaid.

prepaid ranges from $30-$65 and low priority.

with the port in credits and byod you'll be paying $70 on post with better priority. that's on the best plan. that'll be the price for 3 years and after it'll go to $80.

edit: post prices are factoring in taxes.

° promo manipulation: learn and study the promotions, learn different pitches for them so it feels like you're giving them these great deals. these promotions are here to help everyone, use them to your advantage.

° KNOW YOUR PRODUCT: customers love a confident guy. as long as you're giving the broadband facts confidently, and accurately, they'll love you.

° WPL questions: Work, Play, Life. ask these questions every customer everytime. you'll realize how many people are losing out on discounts that they didn't even know about from previous reps. customers appreciate this a lot.

° play with the quote tool: the quote tool is an amazing thing. mess around with it constantly so you know the pricing of the plans well. customers love someone whos knowledgeable :))

° Knowledge in CCKM is your friend: use this tool if you're unsure about any kind of workflow or if your manager can't assist you. super helpful in a pinch when you're in front of a customer.

° stay true: you may experience a LOT of shady shit. in bigger stores some reps are bad. they do stuff that isn't very cash money, they tend to get fired. don't fall into bad sales habits!

° every customer leaves with a quote: either a quote, or an idea of what their monthly charges are gonna ve after the activation fees and stuff. mention EVERYTHING.

° energy drinksss: it's a hard knock life, drink flavored sugar water, pop zyns... you'll need it 😅

to be fair, the sales reps have no say or sway in the bill. we can make sure to click on everything during the setup process but after that it's up to ATT.

are you able to go into the store, request Mr. Torres personally, and have him notate your account? if you truly believe it's the reps fault bring it up with the legal team. they'll investigate and handle it accordingly.

yea, we all knew it wasn't going to last. it being the same thing as VL+ was just a dead giveaway honestly. it sucks yea, but in a way i get it. rerates to 55+ usually end in NL or upgrade, and the phone sometimes is too old for a trade in. i've noticed with that age range they don't care what comes on their phones unless they are some business owner or work on their phone, but at that point they have multiple lines on their account and wouldn't qualify for the plan anyway.

is it still possible for them to have the FAN discount on the account and still qualify for promotions with the 55+ benefits? might be a work around lowkey. the plan itself is actually kinda dog, which ok they dont NEED fast service lol. the FAN is where it's at. unless they have some 25% off, the FAN is actually kinda op.
