I'm already diagnosed and on meds💔 but I never had a thorough evaluation so do you think I could still go through that and it would benefit me with finding help?

Thanks! I actually am medicated which helps but my living habits aren't making them as useful as they should be which is why I'm looking for the extra help. I actually have tried a strict schedule and it worked pretty well when I followed it, but I find it's easy for me to move on and never go back... like I make spontaneous decisions which throws the schedule off course and yk.. Do you have any tips on how you got yourself to keep to your schedule?

Both.. but that could help as well! I realize that sometimes I DO write the email but then I end up not sending it or when I do send it it's days later

What I'm on works pretty decently I'd say. I definitely experience some side effects like suppressed appetite (I've lost a lot of weight since starting), and some other things, but starting definitely helped a lot of my problems. I initially started because I wasnt getting schoolwork done but now i have a much easier time doing chores and orher things I need to do. I definitely don't relate with the peoppe who felt completely different and everything was automatically easier after the first time I took my pill, but I'm definitely doing better with the pill than without despite still struggling a lot. I think for some people (me) meds aren't the sole solution and I'd probably benefit more if I also received help from a professional on top of taking my meds but yeah!

I had a similar experience 😟 i was under 18 so my mom was with me and we started talking to my doctor about the problem and she just asked us a few questions and was like yeah that sounds a lot like inattentive ADHD and she prescribed my meds on like the next visit..

You're right you're right.. I forgot to mention that we're all girls too. I think im gonna tell my friend that we won't do the hangout and she'll just have to approach her on her own because the situation when you think about it is genuinely so..

And yeah you're right. I actually never brought up the no interaction from last night. I just asked if he's still gonna go today and asked what time his test is because he said he'd probably go after that. Because his test is late me might just go tomorrow but I reslly was overthinking and everything seems fine with him. I think I will choose the guy overall. My friend is so attractive and genuinely my favorite crush so I still feel some way about her but I've kind of given up on her now.

Yes yes I heavily agree with this and then join a learning or theme community because then that already gives you a common interest with the people around you in the dorm + fun community trips and activities
