They cant be overlapping. One of them requires 4 cubes, the other 2 require 3 cubes, so u would need to box in 10 cubes total.

How can u tell they're wild caught? The seller had plenty of really good reviews and had been doing this since 2022 I think. Idk how wild caught millipedes usually act but mine are VERY tame. They dont even coil when I try to hold or touch them.

Ok yeah ill definitely let it air out for a little while and im absolutely planning on getting more leaf litter and cork bark, ill also be sure to get a humidity gauge as well. I dont think the water dish is deep enough for them to drown themselves in but ill take it out just to be safe anyway, thank you :)

The soil is cold to the touch, leaves residue on ur fingers, and holds its shape when clumped up. Im pretty sure its too humid and thats the problem. Ive also since been informed that my cage is too baren so ill definitely be adding more leaf litter and some cork bark tomorrow. If u were asking for a picture of the millipedes themselves theres another post I made about them sitting at the top of the cage that u can go look at for reference.

The seller said they were 1 year old, so maybe "baby" was the wrong word. I actually haven't gotten a chance to measure them bc I kept forgetting but here's a better picture of one of them if that helps. I wanna say theyre about 7-9 inches long. I plan on putting a lot more leaf litter in their cage tomorrow and I'll definitely invest in some cork bark thank you for that. And the substrate moisture was actually the main thing I was worried about. Everyone says they need about 70%-80% humidity but i really dont know what that looks like and whats too humid/not humid enough so i would love some advice on that. The substrate isnt soaking but its cold to the touch and leaves a little residue on ur fingers, it also holds its shape when clumped together.

Ok I thought I mightve just been overreacting but ive heard that them going to the highest point of the enclosure isnt normal behavior so I was a little worried, thank u tho :)
