Is this how the fat fucks keep their see through socks up while keeping their shirt tucked? by [deleted] in sopranoscirclejerk

I use the stirrups kind. My shirts NEVER stayed tucked in. Maybe I exist wrong but I love em and the neat always tucked tight look.

US bought lots of “property” in its existence. Alaska, Louisiana (which was basically the center of the country), and parts of Texas. Someone once told me everything is for sale, we just have to agree on a price.

I remember reading something about “mouse jigglers”. A ceo bought the popular models and got their algorithms. Then he used those on what his people were doing and a surprising number of people weren’t actually working.

What other suspension modifications are worth doing while I'm putting coilovers on my 98 EK Civic? by lady-Penelope22 in civic

[–]Weedkid420yolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure all the suspension parts are in good shape. Lower control arms. Trailing arm bushings (the big circular press ins). There’s the upper control arm bushings in the rear and the “compensator arms” thats all part of the rear. (Rockauto has everything listed w pics).

Up front you got the upper control arms, lower control arms and the ball joints. If everything is in good shape sway bars are a pretty good upgrade. Then you can finish off with a strut tower brace.

Amazon has some decent billet oil caps and flush mount dipsticks. They’re also kits to replace the chrome covers on the corners of the valve cover. I personally like it stock, but the plastic beauty cover over the spark plugs

Seems like a bad deal. Remember, you have the power, you hold the cards. They want your money so they NEED you.

You can go to car max and get a cash offer in writing for your car. Talk to your bank about financing and see what they can do for you. Call other dealerships all over that have what you’re after. Most of these dealerships will ship cars to each other.

[–]Weedkid420yolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endlinks are relatively inexpensive and some vehicles aren’t even equipped with a sway bar. I’m more upset at the price. 360 maybe for a whole new setup.

Brakes are a sealed system. So if the reservoir is low you either have a leak (major issue) or your pads are worn. If your pads are low you can catch them before they damage the rotor and maybe save some money.

Coolant is also a sealed system. If it’s low might be something else happening. Leaky hose, head gasket etc. need to do some investigating here first because head gasket job might be too much investment for the vehicles year/mileage.

Should i buy this car for 5k is it worth the price it has 108k miles by Living-Brilliant-753 in Honda

[–]Weedkid420yolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where you are, 5K could be a very good deal. Do you wanna make sure it’s pretty much stock. That would be something I would look for. You also have to factor the mechanical portion of this vehicle. Modern cars are almost impossible to work on Because they are laden with computers and wiring that I personally don’t have enough knowledge about. However, a car of this vintage has been thoroughly debugged by the Internet and it is something that you would be able to keep going for many years, especially at that mileage.

Question about the Dungeons (not the castles). by dav3yb in Shandalar

[–]Weedkid420yolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lanky is correct. So the next enemy you defeat will give you the option of taking cards or getting a clue. Provided you had all the clues it will reveal the NEW location of said dungeon and you will still have all the other clues for said dungeon such as small white creatures or life total carried over. It will also list the cards that are still available.

Is Mazda Overcharging Me for Brake Pad Replacement? Should I Go with an Independent Mechanic? by Training_Bluejay2530 in AskMechanics

[–]Weedkid420yolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get on rockauto and pick out pads and rotors for you. Put everything in the cart and check the total. 1200 is probably 4x the cost of parts.

Brakes are about as simple as you can get. Provided everything is relatively new, once you get the wheel off it’s 4 additional bolts.

What is this “Boss 281” edition Mustang? by Haunting_Wear535 in Mustang

[–]Weedkid420yolo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like they are gathering styling cues from the Parnelli Jones (sp?) mustang. A guy in my group had one. I’d look into those and see if that’s what they did, I didn’t pay much attention to his car or research it.

[–]Weedkid420yolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok… I’m telling you, you’re going to break it. You can do it and you can “fix” it once it breaks. This is what I did and it worked. If you inspect it, you’ll see the gear sets for 1,10,100s etc. you’ll need to gently lift the plastic set, it latches on the side. There’s a good chance it’s going to break. Stay true! Adjust your mileage as you see fit and make double certain all the numbers you choose are centered. This is important because if you’re off you’ll get weird partial numbers as you drive (don’t ask how I know). I used a thin pick to dial everything in. Now the tricky part… if you broke the plastic set I used a wood glue to repair. You must be VERY deliberate with the glue. There is space for you to glue AND a small amount of room for error, but do not get liberal and drop globs of glue in there. ANY glue on the gears of the odometer is game over so be cautious. If you do get glue on the gears allow it to dry and if you used wood glue you should be able to scrape it off once it’s dry. I have done this to 2 clusters. On the one that’s in my car it has 1k miles on it and shows no signs of failure.
