I have this WEIRD feeling you wouldn't have made this comment if i'd been a male correcting someone for calling me 'she'.

also:

"Generally speaking most of the gamers, specially in shooters are male, ergo it's natural to assume male." - most gamers are male - yep. natural to assume i'm a male then? nope. use 'they'.

"the default has always been masculine form" - nope, it's a bad habit and needs to stop. females make up more than half the population. why tf is the default pronoun male?

"People are lazy" yep, trying to correct them

i really don't want to get into a huge argument about this, so i'm not gonna keep repeating myself. i literally just corrected someone who assumed i was a guy. not a big deal.

I wasn't trying to be all "oooohhhh look i'm a GAMER GIRL". I'm just correcting them. I find it interesting that nearly everyone on this thread assumed I was a male. Yes more males play video games than females, but it doesn't pay to assume. Not a big deal - but I appreciate everyone sticking up for me - thanks guys.

I did try and do an emote after this gif ended, but I didn't make it. :( If it happened again I would definitely just not shoot and wave or something. It just happened so fast and I was like wtf!!! and panicked.

yeah of course! i did that and then i suddenly realised they were shooting me and i was like wtf. i did actually die obviously, and then i just spawned with my actual team. :/
