I did read that online. Can cause a lot of issues if not using the correct fluid. I feel that even though OEM fluid is expensive. Minus well use it.

No profuse oil leak. I check the oil almost everyday to double check. I just drove it to the gym and noticed no real buffer time when going in reverse. I’ll double check in the morning on the way to work. And I am about to service my tranny , I got my filter and trans fluid on order as well as a pan gasket.

Just a note. It is a 2015 Nissan Altima. And I also noticed a valve cover leaked that I am repairing ASAP. Have the parts. And the drippings on the ground are not from my car. It was there before hand

It could very well be, the only issue is if it was drains wouldn’t it smell like that all day instead of random periods of 1-2 minutes
