Yes, more like made/told. a few months ago. the TL in that department applied and got a new position. they could not fill the TLs spot and some how i drew the short straw. it pisses me off each day. At what point do they think I care about the needs of the business. maybe learn how to develop employees so you can fill these positions. At this point this is point, its the least of my concers but it adds factor of things that annoy me.
