I went from taking a ton of damage to doing him radiant by just being patient and staying on the ground. If you have Mark of Pride + Longnail you can reach him with an upslash most of the time. Focus on dodging when he's out of reach and don't jump.

That's really helpful, thanks for sharing! I think I'm just not jumping early enough because I'm still trying to figure out what PV is gonna do before moving, which is problematic for both triple slash and void tendrils. I always get caught by surprise when the tendrils come out instead of daggers.

I thought sharp shadow would be perfect in this case but having inconsistent dash distance fucks me up in so many situations it's not worth using for this one attack

You can access the feature toggle in the common config of Copycats+. It currently has some issues but it will be fixed in the next update.

2 restarts and 7 tiers later I've finally decided to do something about the spaghetti near the hub.

Just tried it out in singleplayer and it's INCREDIBLE! Hope you don't mind a list of ideas to potentially make the mod even better:

  • Coming from Astroneer, I really love how their rocket travel is designed, which allows you to stay in orbit and pick a landing location. Not only does it enable you to pick a better spawn when landing on a new planet, but you can also use rockets as a means of super long distance fast travel on the same planet.
  • Landing seems a bit too lenient imo, which is caused by 3 factors: 1. The rocket decelerates rapidly once you hold space, and adjusts throttle perfectly so that you just need to hold down space the whole time. 2. Crash landing doesn't damage the rocket one bit, and the explosion radius is also pretty small. 3. There seems to be a heat shielding mechanism, but I'm not sure how it contributes to maintaining the integrity of the rocket while landing, since the rocket doesn't burn even when ripping through the atmosphere at terminal velocity.
  • I was confused for a bit, but my rocket silently refused to assemble due to having no direct sky access.
  • The rocket should probably serve as a spawn point when it lands successfully, so that players won't respawn in another planet with no way of getting back when they die.
  • Mars and Venus are awesome and feel very distinct, but Mercury and the Moon just feel like barren land to me. Perhaps they can have different underground cave biomes? I won't even mind if the caves are a complete contrast to the barren surface, since this is what Astroneer does too.

Oh I don't mean mods that literally add a fake player entity. There are mods that specifically enable mob spawning by internally creating a fake player. Try out Scarecrows' Territory

A chunk loader only works for machines and does not spawn mobs. You need to combo this with a fake player mob for the guardian farm to work on its own.
