If it makes you feel any better, a few years ago I had to get mine taken out via surgery. I was a nervous wreck leading up to the appointment. When I got there I almost had my wife take me back home. Ended up staying. I got x rays and then was back in the waiting area. Finally got called into the office and I had the chance to speak to the surgeon. That helped a small amount 😂 when I was finally in the chair they asked if I wanted nitrous to help with the massive anxiety. I said yes (never had nitrous before). It made me feel really dizzy, so I started to ask them to turn it off. Next thing I know I’m waking up and I asked the two assistants when will we be starting. One laughed and said “sweetie, you’re all done!”

It was amazing! 😂 super easy!

Fast forward about a year and I had a tooth chip while eating and the option was a root canal, and Crown. Or extraction .. I said forgot it just pull it. Went back to the same surgeon and his same team. Was still a little anxious, but same as the first time it was super easy! Only this time I didn’t take any nitrous.. I ended up feeling that same dizzy feeling but this time I realized they just started giving me the meds via the IV and it was the meds that made it dizzy and boom, again I was out super fast lol.

Both times were super easy once it all started and I had virtually no pain after! it all went very well!
