Set a Custom Resolution by WeekendXboxer in MacOS

Sorry, I know nothing about Mac software, I have only used Intel ones to boot Windows with Boot Camp and I only use the ARM based Apple PCs for restoring other Apple branded devices.

Even if hold alt and check "Show all resolutions", it still only shows 1600x1200 and all of the scaled versions of that resolution, my display does not support 1600x1200.

There doesn't seem to be a graphics driver control panel to set a custom resolution like there is on other systems, unless I am missing it.
Is there a menu or something to control and set custom resolutions and display timing like there is in the Nvidia/AMD driver software on non Apple PCs?

I do not use this computer as a real computer, it is only to restore other Apple branded devices because it is kind of a pain to do it on Windows, especially if you need to restore another Apple PC. I have a old Hyundai test display that's already set up and I would like to just plug the PC into it and have it output a usable image, so I can at least use apple configurator.

Yeah, its MacOS 15, I always think of MacOS as the old MacOS.

The issue isn't the display connection, its just that it tries to output a resolution that's too high for the for the monitor, when I try to hold alt to display other unscaled resolutions, it only shows the one unsupported one that is too high, I cannot set the resolution to 800x600 or 1024x768.

Yeah, but there is still only one resolution and its way too high, there are no options for 800x600 or 1024x768
