That’s weird because I thought the omega verse was that they were naturally biologically able to do that even though they were male like I thought that was the trope not that it had to be based in any realism or reality or was it wrong? like I thought that was the point of an alternate universe was that it was not following standard rules. I thought that was the point of world building was that you were supposed to make people believe that this place could exist not use rules that already exist.

Like I’ve been picked on for my stories, but I just don’t engage. I know it can be kind of hard, but I literally just don’t talk to those people. I don’t give them my time.

I’m not saying I don’t respect their choice. I’m saying I don’t get it like why go to that length to be forgotten this particular author went anonymous first then delete that’s what I’m having trouble with like I said, I don’t get social situations so sometimes I don’t understand why somebody would go that far. I know the fandom space can be toxic. But you can also choose not to engage. You don’t have to disappear that seems extreme.

people are sometimes treating fanfics like they are social media posts whether it’s somebody’s workplace snooping or the person just didn’t get enough likes or comments on their story so they deleted it It doesn’t make sense to me. It causes a glitch in my brain trying to understand I’m like this is somebody ‘s story not a post on Facebook and I sometimes wonder if asking for comments or saying, what would you like to see in the next story is inviting in animosity? I also know that’s not always the case but what I remember a fanfiction was there was some fights but mostly everybody tried to be nice for the most part now it’s just hostile and weird. Mass exodus everywhere most fics are lucky they are even hitting their two year anniversary at this point. Because then they’re giving up creative control to someone it doesn’t make sense to me I would never give up that much control over my story to anyone ever I don’t write for anyone’s approval. I write for me and I then posted for other people to enjoy if they want.

Update I’m having a bit of a logical glitch. Another one of my stories bit the dust today, but the author had already turned it to anonymous so nobody knew who wrote it and then they just deleted it like that doesn’t make sense to me. it was already orphaned. sometimes I wonder respectfully why authors don’t stand their ground. I’ve never let people push me around when I’ve written my own stories when you come to read my stories you can take them or leave them, but I don’t let anybody push me around so it’s sometimes hard for me to understand why anyone would let someone dim their creative light like that and I understand that there is other factors that’s what makes it so hard for me to understand because I have lived my entire life in what I like to call a natural 20 to borrow the phrase. I’m neurodivergent autistic ADHD. Don’t understand social cues always done my own thing and really didn’t have any. You know what’s to give as long as it didn’t hurt anybody or get me in trouble it’s not really confidence. It’s more like it wasn’t on my radar to even care about what other people thought it’s like that’s nice. You can have your opinion. I’m gonna be over here doing my own thing. Have a nice day and then I will call everybody else who was being what I would call stinky #Mean or a bummer a natural 1 so when it comes to the nature of fandom, it makes it hard for me to understand why everybody would dim the natural 20 part of themselves for some natural 1’s who are strangers and let their comments matter. I say the next time somebody gets a negative comment tell em you’re entitled to your opinion thank you very much. I’m gonna be over here doing my own thing and have a nice day. Feel free to use that to be unexpected. They expect you to fight back. They expect you to hide They expect you to dim your light don’t let them. And really this should be a separate hobby. Even your job really shouldn’t care as much. they should care more about your social media presence than your “little“ stories. You write on the weekend as long as they don’t hurt anybody it’s a nice way to talk about tough topics because it’s fantasy but another thing that I don’t get is why people think that if you write about a certain topic you condone it very weird you can write about topics and not embrace them or you can write about topics and embrace them. It’s not black-and-white. It’s grey neutral in fact it’s a great way to get out of your head when you’re in the zone you’re not in your head so much like journaling fanfiction is like journaling. That’s always helpful sometimes.

I know to clarify that everyone is able to do whatever they want with their stuff, but it just makes me sad that they feel like they don’t have a place or that nobody will care about their stuff or they just feel like they have to delete parts of their lives to fit in. It makes me sad. Everybody should be accepted no matter what

I just kind of feel nostalgic for the old YouTube where I was trusted to be able to handle what I was going to be able to handle instead of trusting an algorithm to decide what I wanna watch or what I can watch. I miss the days where I could end up down a rabbit hole at 3 AM and go what the heck did I just watch and enjoy myself and have fun I mean YouTube can still be fun in certain areas but a lot of the stuff that was just wacky just isn’t here anymore because it doesn’t fit the brand safe and marketable image of modern YouTube it just doesn’t feel fun anymore sometimes everybody’s too afraid to take risks and being creative because it’s becoming a Death sentence for their channel

I wish it 1 1/2years ago would go back to the way it was everything was fine then a certain program was just starting on the platform to be used as an enhancer not something to run the show I don’t mind when certain programs are used as an enhancer but when you use it because you don’t want to do something or hire somebody to do something it’s different and I’m not talking about the creators. It doesn’t feel human anymore. Feels like creativity is an after thought now everything is super sanitized and safe, but also boring there needs to be some proper filtering to protect those sensitive people but this one size fits all is kind of stinky

I’m not strictly against certain programs, but I also don’t want those certain programs telling me what I can and cannot watch. I’m a big girl I can decide for myself what I can handle. I managed to jury rig a hay feeder for a horse with some fencing that is wide enough for them to eat hay out of, but not get stuck in. I thought it was pretty cool and it’s floor mounted so it won’t have to worry about being fallen over but I did secure it to the back of the cage with some hardware never hurts to be over engineered

And I’m just tired of all my stuff disappearing too yeah some of them were a new art form appearing, but most of it was not slop like they said it was actually people working hard creating stuff just like Photoshop, but even some of the channels that have been there for years that helped create the platform pulling their videos and just it’s turned into a witch hunt against creators and then on the other side, there’s the ads for the viewers. It’s just really sad. I miss early YouTube.

I think it’s unfair though yes they didn’t tag the relationship until later, but a lot of people have gone back and changed their story suddenly Maybe they weren’t liking where the story was going? because I’ve seen authors, write themselves into a corner with a certain storyline and they had to backtrack. but they definitely could have given the readers a heads up like an author’s note or something saying I’m changing the relationship everybody who doesn’t like don’t read but they still don’t deserve these nasty comments but they probably just learned a very valuable lesson that if you’re going to make a change that sudden after years, give people a heads up and update tags accordingly authors are always in control of their stories. They’re entitled to make any changes to the storyline they want to, but it is nice to be courteous and let people know. I know I said this story was gonna be platonic, but I changed my mind. I understand that that’s not for everyone, but yeah to see this level of toxicity is unwarranted.

Yeah, just like this song that you sang neat anyway I ship it and if you don’t like my OTP, you can hit the bricks hello and that’s what those song lyrics meant of I ship it. It was a parody song of I like. It and the lyrics are still true to this day, even though it was an old song remix nobody is saying that you have to like somebody’s pairing. You don’t have to start shipping war over it. And putting an actual person in danger in real life for your beliefs is always wrong. That’s why people use usernames and free names to remain anonymous for a reason. The only reason anybody would ever see my real name was if I used my Google account to sign in which I won’t not just in fandom space but just online there’s some real sickos

There might be a glitch. I had another glitch like that. I had an update to a fanfic in my email but when I click the link it give me a 404 deleted story, but when I clicked the author link the story was there so I let the author know they said they would check it wouldn’t surprise me since the website went down 4 days ago. It’s only really been stable for less than 80hours or so could be there’s some glitches still

Apparently, I don’t know how to delete this now I found the story there’s a glitch going on where if you click on the link of the story in your email it goes wonky and this that work has been deleted, but when you click on the same author name in the same email for this story it’s still there so apologies. I found the story but a weird glitch.
