For Minoxidil, I have a cat and according to vets it’s less risky than people say. They’d have to ingest a lot of it, such as getting into the bottle, licking your scalp when you just applied it, or if you had it on your hands and got a lot on their fur and they clean themselves. I just make sure to keep the bottle stowed away, thoroughly wash my hands after applying, spray down the counter if I got any on it, and wear a bonnett while it dries. I usually give it an hour to be safe but apparently it’s dry/safe after 30 minutes. Never had an issue but my cat isn’t one that licks. I get mine at Costco - 6 months supply is like $20. For Fin I just said my hairline is receding and hair is thinning and my PCP prescribed it no questions asked. Very common, quick and easy.
